Nanoscale Patterning of Barium Titanate on Block Copolymers
Atriblock copolymerof polystyrene-polybutadiene-polystyrene (KratonD1102)hasbeenused topattern barium titanate precursor with nanoscale modulations. The copolymer self-assembles to yield cylindrical polystyrene nanodomains in a polybutadiene matrix. The preorganized thin films of polymer are then selectively OH-functionalized in situ on the unsaturated carbon bonds in the polybutadiene matrix w...

متن کاملLithographic patterning on polydimethylsiloxane surfaces using polydimethylglutarimide.
We present a method for high fidelity lithographic patterning on polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) surfaces employing traditional cleanroom equipment and commercially available materials that overcomes previous problems in PDMS processing. To illustrate this method, an electrostatically actuated microfluidic pump and rectangular diffraction gratings were fabricated on PDMS.
متن کاملNon-lithographic patterning of phage-displayed peptides with wrinkled elastomers.
The development of controlled patterning of phage (viruses) could expand opportunities for both fundamental studies and creating various materials platforms. Inducing the elastomeric instability of PDMS film provides a non-lithographic, tuneable, controlled method for generating micro/nanoscale wrinkle patterns. Phage display has emerged as a powerful method for selecting peptides that possess ...
متن کاملLithographic patterning of photoreactive cell-adhesive proteins.
Control of the spatial arrangement of proteins on surfaces is essential in a number of emerging technologies, including protein microarrays, biosensors,1 tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine.2 Patterning is also a powerful tool in cell biology, wherein cell arrays are used to elucidate the factors that mediate migration, proliferation, and cell-cell interactions.3 Although photolithogr...
